  • In the OneNote elearning courses from E-Learning Office you will learn how to use the available applications in Microsoft OneNote. You will become familiar with the structure of the new electronic notebook and will learn how elements are created, inserted or changed in the notebook and how data can be exchanged between OneNote and other applications. You will be shown how to use the search functions in OneNote to quickly find what you are looking for. In addition, you will learn about the release option and will see how easy it is to use notebooks together in a team.

Onenote Advanced Search Syntax

  1. Copying link to paragraph just puts the link to a specific sentence in a clipboard. You could try it yourself. Make 10 same sentences (or any number), link one of them, paste the link from the clipboard anywhere in OneNote or any other opplication and when you click on it it will bring you to the linked sentence and not the other 9 or any other words that the sentence contains.
  2. OneNote’s OCR (Optical Character Recognition) technology is one of its most useful and advanced feature it will let you extract text from a picture, for later ease of search/use. It should work on handwritten notes as well, although your mileage may vary with your writing style.
